Residential and Commercial Flat Roofs

A flat roof needs bulletproof protection against the elements: extreme cold, heatwaves, hail, high winds, and especially… rain. The covering must not let water in, rot, or deteriorate under UV rays.

For residential, commercial, or industrial flat roofs, no other covering is more waterproof and durable than the elastomeric membrane. It's also low-maintenance and can last 30 years or more with regular upkeep.

Installation Method

The elastomeric membrane is made up of two layers that are fused together during installation using a torch.

The base layer is a non-woven polyester reinforcement surrounded by SBS-modified bitumen, while the finishing layer is also made of SBS-modified bitumen.

Once heat-fused, the two layers form a thick, rubber-like membrane that is 100% waterproof and capable of handling large movements without breaking. Repairs, when needed, are easy for our experienced roofers to perform.

The membrane bonds instantly and effectively to the roof as it cools. To complete the installation, granules are added to create an extra protective layer. Choosing white granules helps reduce heat inside the building and makes the roof suitable for a rooftop terrace.

Adding a vapor barrier beneath the base layer before installation also protects your flat roof from moisture.

When installed carefully, with well-sealed flashings, roof vents, and other rooftop equipment, your flat roof is effectively protected against water infiltration.

Note that installation can be done in any season, but only trained and experienced professionals should perform this work.
